À la veille de No&= euml;l, qu’il me soit permis de vous offrir mes vœux fervents qui s’adressent tant à votre personne qu’à l’Institut que vous avez fondé si heureusement.

Votre conférence a= u  Centre Culturel de St-Louis des Français a été suivie par tous avec le plus vif intérêt. J’ai tiré moi-même de cet pos&eacu= te; bien des lumières dont je vous remercie.

Je comprends vos inquiétudes et vos problèmes au sujet des responsabilit&eacut= e;s partagées que vous évoquiez, je pense après réflexion. La responsabilité repose sur celui qui prend l’initiative et sur celui qui consciemment, participe à cette initiative. Il est possible par ailleurs, qu’un résultat techn= ique puisse apparaître momentanément, à la suite d’une entreprise dont on ne peut que condamner la nature. Je pense au Prof. Flore= nce, que nous évoquions à St-Louis des Français, qui se ref= usa à participer en Allemagne à des expériences qui transformaient en animaux de laboratoire des jeunes Polonaises. Il est mort martyr. D’autres ont fait ces expériences. Quelque résu= ltat immédiat a pu en résulter. Avouez que le résult= at à distance a été mauvais. À quoi ont servi des expériences, comme d’ailleurs toutes les mesures prises par les Nazis contre les juifs, les handicapés mentaux ? Ce fut la ruine pour le régime et même pour le pays.

Déjà dans l’antiquité, Sparte sacrifiait tous les enfants malformé= ;s. Que reste-t-il de la civilisation spartiate ?
